Swinerton is excited to announce the promotion of Chris Spencer to Chief Estimator overseeing the Southern California Target Markets division.

Chris started his career in construction in 2003 as an Estimator for mid-size firm.  He has a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Mathematics from San Diego State University. He holds the CPE designation and is a proponent and active participant of ASPE (American Society of Professional Estimators).  Upon joining Swinerton in 2014 in the OCLA Commercial Estimating Group, Chris has led successful pursuits for the Griffin/Swinerton P3 venture, Lowe Enterprises, Kaiser, and Providence St. Joseph’s.

As Chief Estimator, Chris will provide oversight and guidance to the Southern California Target Markets Division, which includes Healthcare, K-14/Community College, and Parking Structures. He will focus on employee development, consistent processes/procedures, and optimizing estimating strategies for future work.
