Ledding Library Update
Located in downtown Milwaukie, the Ledding Library project included the removal of the existing library and a new 18,000-square-foot library. The project was awarded to us in 2016 as a CM/GC project. The preconstruction period lasted two years with many design revisions due to funding and site restrictions, but construction broke ground in October 2018.
Currently, the project has completed a few milestones, the most current being wholly dried-in with roofing completed, and windows and doors installed on the exterior. The project has incorporated multiple aspects of our self-perform groups from concrete, rough carpentry, framing, drywall, and clean up.
The roofline for this one-story building is extremely complicated as it undulates – never having a flat point along the roofline. On May 24th , we had a safety lunch with the crew to celebrate the roof framing completion and the start of the roof sheathing.
