Partners Group, a Switzerland-based investment firm, opened its new North American headquarters at 1200 Entrepreneurial Dr. in Broomfield on Tuesday. The 129,400-square-foot campus comprises several buildings, including a training facility and subterranean parking.
“We wanted to have a place where we could build our own campus and really focus on our culture,” said David Layton, co-CEO and head of private equity of Partners Group. “We fell in love with the view of the mountains and being a firm with Swiss ties, having that proximity to the mountains was important.”
Partners Group decided to build its campus in Colorado to support the growth of its U.S. business line. Layton noted that approximately 40% of the capital investments that the firm has made over the last five years has been on behalf of its clients based in North America. Denver-based Open Studio Architecture designed the office, Denver-based Prime West Development served as the project developer and San Francisco-based Swinerton Builders served as the general contractor for the campus.
