Swinerton Builds Qualtrics Expansion in Texas

Swinerton’s Dallas team is working away on a design-build project for repeat client Qualtrics. This project is part of the data-focused company’s global expansion plans to add more than 5,000 employees in locations such as North Texas, Utah, Seattle.

“With the talent in the Dallas area, we have been able to establish an incredible hub here,” Qualtrics CEO Ryan Smith said to Dallas Business Journal in a prepared statement. “As we expand to more than 300 employees in the area, we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to continue growing.”

This tenant improvement project will provide Qualtrics a new 36,740-square-foot office space at the 6105 Tennyson Parkway building in West Plano. Millwork, quartz countertops, and a decorative masonry accent wall will lead into the new open concept office space.

Layout includes workstations around the perimeter with a large cantina/kitchen area in the core and breakout gaming areas and conference rooms throughout the space. There will also be direct access to a new 1,600-square-foot patio through exterior doors over the adjacent roof structure. Finishes will include carpet and polished concrete floors, painted exposed structure ceilings, wood paneling, and digital wall coverings.
