In late October, twelve swift and fearless runners, supported by two determined van drivers, came together from Swinerton’s Atlanta and Charlotte offices to embark on a 200 mile journey on the historic Kentucky Bourbon trail.
The team kicked off the race in Clermont, KY at the Jim Beam distillery. From there, the 31-hour relay brought them east through the scenic countryside, passing by picturesque horse farms and several quaint communities as well as Maker’s Mark and Four Roses distilleries along the way. The adventure ended in downtown Lexington with a hard-earned rest and celebratory bourbon tasting.
In competitive spirit, Ragnar brought the Southeast teams together as one. The team looks forward to competing together on an annual basis as they continue to build the Southeast.
