FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS– NAVIA
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow you to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses and/or dependent care expenses incurred throughout the year. Swinerton offers a Healthcare FSA and a Dependent Care FSA. When you participate in the FSA(s), you elect pre-tax deduction from your paycheck into one or both plans each year. As you incur eligible expenses, you submit claims to be reimbursed for these expenses with your tax-free dollars from the appropriate plan.
Healthcare FSA Highlights:
- Tax-free funds to pay for eligible expenses.
- Expenses include out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision and prescription drug expenses.
- 90-day grace period after the end of the plan year to submit expenses for reimbursement.
