DISABILITY – RELIANCE STANDARD
If you are ill or injured and unable to work, Swinerton offers benefits to protect you and minimize your financial worries. Short-Term Disability (STD) provides weekly income replacement if you become unable to work due to medical disability. If you are unable to work for more than 90 days due to a medical disability, Long-Term Disability (LTD) begins to pay monthly benefits on the 91st day.

CRITICAL ILLNESS / ACCIDENTAL INJURY – CIGNA
Swinerton has partnered with Cigna to offer Critical Illness and Accidental Injury Insurance. Both plans pay a lump-sum benefit if you are diagnosed with a covered condition or experience an accidental injury. Funds you receive can be used however you like, for example: to help pay for expenses not covered by your medical plan, lost wages, childcare, travel, home health care costs or any of your regular household expenses. Benefits are paid directly to you and pay in addition to any other health insurance you may have. Both plans are voluntary, which means you’ll pay the full cost of the coverage if you choose to enroll. However, you have discounted rates through Swinerton.

LONG-TERM CARE
