Swinerton and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea celebrated the groundbreaking of a new consulate building in uptown Seattle this September with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Speeches by project partners, including Consul General Moon Duk-ho and Swinerton’s Seattle Division Manager Dave Worley were also given. The new three-story consulate is expected to complete in 2019.
The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle provides South Korean nationals, U.S. citizens, and foreign nationals residing in the U.S. with passport and visa services. The Consulate in Seattle holds jurisdiction over five Pacific Northwest states: Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. These five states are home to more than 170,000 Korean-Americans.
Swinerton is honored to partner with the Republic of Korea to enhance and support their mission of growth and development in the Pacific Northwest.
