A design-build project, the six-story, 910,000-square-foot parking structure has 2,600 stalls. The tiered speed ramp system allows for quick ingress and egress. The exterior is an as-cast concrete finish with concrete reveals in the spandrels to provide an architectural relief to the massing of the facade. Swinerton self-performed the structural concrete and rebar scopes of work. The entire structure is equipped with a state-of-the art parking guidance system. It also features climate control elevator lobbies with a direct connection to the Casino’s ground level, along with a new expanded canopy cover tied into the Casino’s main entrance. One quadrant of the rooftop was designed for ancillary use as event and concert space. It was structurally designed to accommodate additional loading. The scope also included road widening work, along with a new 750-stall surface parking to accommodate for the stall loss during construction. Work took place on an operational Casino campus.
