Monika Iannone – Project Manager, San Diego

Monika Iannone holds an undergraduate degree from USC in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree from Pepperdine School of Law in Dispute Resolution. Her construction career has spanned a variety of specialized construction types including heavy civil, mechanical, and commercial building. In her past seven years with Swinerton, she has excelled on projects that feature complex MEP systems, aggressive schedules, and challenging logistics requirements.

Monika has completed multiple projects for notable San Diego clients such as San Diego Gas & Electric, San Diego State University, Emmes, and Paul Hastings. Her management approach blends a technical knowledge of construction issues with a “people first” mentality. It has driven the majority of her clients to request Monika as a Project Manager on a repeated basis.

Monika is currently working on the new South Beach expansion at Hotel Del Coronado. This 18-month project will add 147 hotel rooms to Hotel Del’s portfolio and will feature a new pool, conference center, food services, and Victorian architecture. Monika is excited to be a part of the team that is delivering this new amenity to a historic San Diego location!
