Swinerton remodeled a historical building in a busy urban environment to create this 20,000-square-foot flagship store for Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

The historic façade was retained and the structure was completely retrofitted seismically to accommodate three new elevators, two 22-foot by 22-foot skylights, multiple level grand staircase with two floating landings, and two state-of-the-art commercial grade demonstration kitchens with broadcast capabilities. Architectural features include custom lighting, millwork and fixtures, level five drywall installation, and concept development implemented throughout the Williams-Sonoma brand
