Swinerton is pleased to welcome Marvin Wheat, who has joined the Orange County Los Angeles (OCLA) leadership team to continue growing our business, develop and mentor talent and position us stronger for the future.

Marvin is a graduate of Harvard University and has worked in numerous positions throughout his career. He brings more than 40 years of construction experience in various roles including developer, construction manager, consultant, owner’s representative and general contractor.  His entrepreneurial spirit and keen focus on client relationships will make him a key asset to the team.

He has an extensive background in a wide variety of markets, including higher education, retail, museums, hospitality, residential, and corporate office.  Some of his most notable and challenging projects include the Dole World Headquarters, the Google Spruce Goose Office, the Four Seasons Westlake Village Hotel, the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum. His expertise will be a valuable resource to the OCLA team and our clients.

Marvin’s primary responsibility will be to grow Swinerton’s presence in strategic markets.
