Swinerton Spokane’s First Annual Cornhole Tournament
The Spokane Team’s first annual Cornhole Tournament was held on September 2nd, 2021 with a goal to raise funds to support the Swinerton Foundation. The event was held at the Spokane Tribe Casino in consisted a bracket-style cornhole tournament where 32 teams played head-to-head to see who would come out on top! We couldn’t have done this without our Championship Sponsor- WM Winkler and our Food and Beverage Sponsor – Metals Fabrication. We also had 17 board sponsors from companies across the industry! All sponsors received custom cornhole boards with their company logos on them.
The competition was tough (some even brought their own bags and had matching outfits) but overall, everyone ended the night with beer in their hand and high fiving. The top three teams of the Cornhole Tournament walked away with some great prizes consisting of Yeti Tumblers and gift cards, JBL Bluetooth Speakers, and the first-place winners walking away with Yeti Coolers!
Those that were not competing were able to play cornhole on our free play boards, conversate, and enjoy the open bar and food. The Spokane Tribe’s Outdoor Patio was the perfect venue where everyone could lounge, play games and the weather held up perfectly.
Thanks to the incredible participation of our subcontractors who supported this event we were able to present the Swinerton Foundation with a check just shy of $25,000! This being our first Swinerton Foundation event we are immensely proud of this achievement and look forward to an even bigger and better Cornhole Tournament next year.
