South End restaurant overlooking rail trail officially opens this week

Market on Morehead has officially opened in Charlotte’s South End, bringing a new 10,000-square-foot dining and entertainment venue to the Carson Station development. The restaurant features a sunken dining room, double-sided bar, and a climate-adaptable patio overlooking the Blue Line and Rail Trail, creating a new destination in one of the city’s most active neighborhoods. Swinerton completed construction of the space as part of the Carson Station development.

The project highlights Swinerton’s experience building within active environments while minimizing disruption to neighboring businesses.
