The successful completion of the 52,000-square-foot indoor soccer facility marked the first Design-Build project in Hawaii in partnership with Honolulu architect firm, CDS International. The new facility includes three futsal courts, each 132 feet by 76 feet, with two adjacent courts located downstairs and the third elevated court on the second level. The air-conditioned facility also has bleachers, a pro shop, a snack bar, LED lighting above the courts, solar panels on its roof and a mezzanine level.

Swinerton implemented the latest tools in construction technology including BIM modeling for design and efficiency and the concrete laser screed machine for optimal flatness on the 15,000 foot concrete slab. Swinerton’s self-perform concrete and finished carpentry were also implemented on the project; providing our teams the ability to closely manage quality and schedule.
