The new 250,000-square-foot, six-story office building maximizes usable space and provides a flexible and open office environment. Certified LEED Silver, it performs 70% better than a typical office building in the country. A steel structural system and precast concrete skin make way to an extensive glass façade, which infuses the building with natural light. The 300-person boardroom offers an abundance of space for the Board of Supervisors and doubles as a public event forum. A new two-level, 150,000-square-foot, subterranean parking structure sits below the building’s concrete podium and offers 350 stalls to guests and staff. Swinerton is self-performing the robust concrete scope of work. The project is a mirror image of the County Administration South Building, which Swinerton completed in 2019.
