The Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach is the biggest development among Hyatt’s stylish boutique line of hotels, and is the first Hyatt Place “Gen2” in the State of Hawaii and the world. Previously known as the Ocean Resort, the design team regionalized the “Gen2” modern design to embrace the Hawaiian urban lifestyle. The extensive renovation/ make-over included a complete gutting and renovation of all public spaces, Guestroom towers, addition of ADA units, new systems and finishes, new MEP installations, modernization of the elevators, landscape improvements, installation of a new grease trap and other updates to the utilities.
