Swinerton provided design-build services for all site infrastructure and improvements, and design-assist general contracting services for the construction of the new casino and event facility. The temporary sprung structure was built in a fraction of the time and cost of conventional casino construction projects. The Class II gaming facility incorporates 349 slot machines, an 11-seat bar, a 100-seat restaurant, event space and outdoor patio/beer garden, a players club, a cash cage, back-of-house modular offices, and a full-service modular restaurant kitchen.
Design-build site and infrastructure improvements included a water treatment system and a 250,000-gallon storage system supplied from an onsite well for all potable and fire system water needs, a modular packaged Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) wastewater treatment facility and evaporation field, and bringing a half-mile of underground PG&E electrical service to the previously undeveloped property. The site also includes all civil surface and grading improvements, a 400-stall surface parking lot, and a new entrance road and bridge spanning across protected environmentally sensitive wetlands. Swinerton self-performed the concrete, drywall, specialty ceilings, millwork, and doors/frames/hardware scopes of work.
