Swinerton provided preconstruction and construction management services for the construction of Post Centennial Park, a mixed-use downtown Atlanta property. Situated on two city blocks across from the Word of Coke, this residential community fronts Centennial Olympic Park and contains 438 units ranging in size from 476-1,657 square feet.

The two buildings, bisected by a city street, have a variety of exterior finishes including stucco, king brick, and cast stone over partial podium. Each building was designed to preserve the diverse character of the neighborhood. The new residential community contains 14,639 square feet of retail space and a precast parking structure with 651 parking spaces. Along with the leasing office and workroom, other amenities will include three courtyards with fountains and grilling areas, entertaining space, dog turf/walk/wash, a fitness center offering group classes to residents, and a paseo area.

This is the first downtown Atlanta project for Atlanta-based Post Properties in its 45-year history. 10% of the units will be designated as workforce housing in accordance with the city’s economic development initiative.
