Safe construction practices are essential to on-time project delivery, and Swinerton is committed to eliminating worker injury and illness across our company’s operations. Meeting this challenge takes time, hard work, regular training and a commitment to safety from all employees and subcontractors – an investment we readily make because a safe jobsite saves project costs, prevents delays and boosts worker morale which improves quality and production.
Our dedication to safe jobsite practices starts with a site-specific safety plan which anticipates ways to engineer safe methods for work-related hazards. Every Swinerton employee has the responsibility for establishing an atmosphere where people are empowered with “Stop Work Authority” to raise awareness of unsafe situations. Our project teams work closely with our regional safety manager to maintain safe work site, develop emergency action plans, lead new hire safety orientations, and conduct competent person safety training.
Project stakeholders can be rest assured that Swinerton will maintain the highest safety standards in pursuit of our “Zero Injury” goal for the duration of any project. Regardless of the scope of a project our top priority is always safety—YFNY is more than just our team’s motto; it’s a way of life.
