Swinerton tops out 1066 Market Street in San Francisco
Swinerton and Shorenstein Properties have topped out at 1066 Market Street, a 14-story apartment building that will bring much-needed housing and public improvements to the Mid-Market district of San Francisco.
Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, this 303-unit residential complex also has over 4,400 square feet of ground-floor retail space. 1066 Market’s unique structure and façade are designed to blend in with the surrounding buildings in the historic theatre district. Construction broke ground on 1066 Market in 2018 and is on track to complete mid-2020.
“Swinerton is proud to have done a lot of work building housing for the people of San Francisco, and 1066 Market is another outstanding addition to the Mid-Market,” said Project Executive, Sean Flahive. “We’re dedicated to making a positive an impact for this neighborhood and the people of this city.”
Swinerton is also building housing nearby at the 502-unit Trinity Plaza Phase IV project, and 157 units of below-market-rate housing at 1950 Mission Street.
