DPS awarded Phase Two of the Regis F. Groff Campus to the Swinerton-Eidos team due to their successful delivery of Phase One (KIPP) that completed 22 days early with zero added costs. The Swinerton-Eidos team continued their partnership with DPS on the second phase known as Strive Prep Rise High School. Phase two scope of work included a 73,000-square-foot addition that was also delivered utilizing the design-build method. The addition includes two, two-story classroom wings, a two-story community/administrative wing, and a 10,000-square-foot-performance/lecture hall that was tied into the existing Phase 1 building (KIPP) while it was operational. All work was completed on a tight site, occupied campus and was adjacent to another DPS active campus Evie Garrett Dennis Campus. Additional work included a sizable site work package included the civil infrastructure leading to the campus including the construction of new roads and utilities to access and supply the property. Swinerton completed Phase II design and construction in 13 months; one month early and under budget.
