Encompass partnered with Swinerton in a design-build contract for an existing 23,000-square-foot building for content distribution at their existing satellite farm in Atlanta. The two-phased project includes a new server room, production distribution, and operations buildout for a 24/7 broadcast operation set. The project includes a central equipment room with 80 data racks and the infrastructure to accommodate an additional 160 racks, 2.5MW diesel generators, 3000A switchgear and UPS, a multimedia station with 55 individual breakout pods, open office space, training/conference rooms, and renovated bathrooms.
