Funded by Measure W, this project consists of the construction of a new 43,700-square-foot, Police Station with two detention cells, support building, and related site work. The two structural steel structures will be constructed on a pile foundation system. The two-story main structure will be 36,000 square feet along with a one-story building at 7,700 square feet. This essential services building includes a public lobby, community room, records, evidence processing and storage, temporary holding facility, firing range, and a number of storage and support functions. A secure perimeter encloses the lobby space to separate the public from the secure elements. Our scope of work includes demolition of the existing building to prepare for the new facility along with site and parking lot improvements.
