Swinerton Expands into New York City
While many construction companies are cutting back during the COVID-19 economic downturn, Swinerton is excited to be expanding into the Northeast by opening a New York City office.
Capitalizing on Swinerton’s 132-year history and 20 offices in eight states, Swinerton’s New York City office is the next step in the company’s plan to grow its national presence. The office will be led by Vice President Andrew Pearl.
“We are looking to bring a lot of the West Coast approaches to what is a somewhat old, conventional market,” said Swinerton Vice President Andrew Pearl, who is leading the expansion adding that the firm’s experience in public-private partnerships will prove to be a competitive edge as those kinds of projects get more traction on the East Coast. “With public funding ever more difficult for municipalities to secure, they are looking for creative ways to fund projects,” he said. “The public-private partnership is becoming a more viable source.”
