Swinerton is pleased to share two key promotions in Northern California with Terry McKellips taking on the role of Senior Vice President, Region Manager to replace Steve Johnson as he transitions into retirement, and Lori Dunn-Guion leading the Bay Area Building group as Division Manager.

“I am thrilled for both Terry and Lori as they advance in their careers at Swinerton, a testament to their outstanding skills and experience. Both have earned their promotions through hard work, leadership, and dedication to the success of their client’s projects,” said Swinerton CEO Eric Foster.

Terry joined Swinerton in 2000 as a Project Manager and advanced to the roles of Project Executive and Operations Manager before becoming Division Manager for San Francisco’s Building Division in 2014 and serving on the Board of Directors for Swinerton Builders in 2017.

Under Terry’s leadership, Swinerton has completed skyline changing projects in San Francisco, while strategically diversifying and bolstering the team and project pipeline to best position the organization for continued growth and success across Northern California.

Lori Dunn-Guion has been promoted from Operations Manager to Division Manager of Swinerton’s Bay Area Building group, which focuses on sectors such as affordable housing, education, public/civic, and office construction. A graduate of the University of California Berkeley, Lori began her career at Swinerton as an intern in 1998 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility throughout her tenure, and currently serves as the President of The Swinerton Foundation.

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Lori has provided technical expertise to guide projects during all stages of design and construction. She has also held the responsibility for the successful delivery of projects and upholding client satisfaction which will continue to be important tenets in her role, along with the strategic development and supervision of the division’s preconstruction and construction efforts.
