Swinerton Named one of the Southeast’s 2021 Best Places to Work in both Charlotte and Atlanta
We are excited to announce that both Swinerton’s Charlotte and Atlanta offices have been named one of 2021’s Best Places to Work! The Charlotte Business Journal placed our Charlotte office 6th in the Mid-Size Company category and the Atlanta Business Chronicle ranked Swinerton #22 in its list of Best Places to Work, Medium Companies. This is the first time Atlanta has made the list and the second consecutive win for Charlotte. Check out all our offices that were named Best Places to Work in 2020.
We are only as good as our people
A significant factor in the selection of the Best Places to Work winners is the evaluation of the employee experience and overall team morale of an organization. Both the Atlanta and Charlotte offices have made these priorities as we continue to intentionally build a culture that employees want to be a part of.
As our team continues to grow, so does our presence in these geographies. Our Charlotte office recently moved to a new office space in Station West, Charlotte’s innovative, adaptive reuse development located in the popular FreeMoreWest neighborhood. Our Atlanta office also plans to relocate offices within the next year to accommodate recent growth.
“A strong culture and a 100% Employee Owned model allow us to enjoy high retention rates and have fun building together.” Derek Mosiman, Director of Special Projects
At Swinerton, we are all owners. Being an owner isn’t just about owning stock. Employee ownership is a mindset. And an ownership mindset is an integral part of Swinerton culture, of which employees are all a part, regardless of title or tenure.

Supporting our Local Community
As a team, we love coming together to make an impact through our involvement with community service projects. Our Southern roots run deep and we are always eager to do what we can to make our cities better given so many of us are born and raised here. Over the past few years, we have supported the following organizations:
- Volunteering with Chattahoochee River Keeper
- Sorting and donating food for the Community Assistance Center of Sandy Springs
- Providing construction for Sunshine on a Rainey Day Storefront
The activism and passion for helping others displayed by our employees translates to an inspiring team culture.
At Swinerton, we continually look for ways to champion and challenge our talented workforce with interesting projects for high-profile clients, encourage personal and professional growth through training and mentoring, and celebrate our people-oriented culture and the innovative ways they serve Swinerton and the community.
