Swinerton and BRIDGE Housing host San Francisco Housing Bond event

Swinerton and BRIDGE Housing hosted an event at Chambers at the Phoenix Hotel to continue to raise awareness and fundraise in support of Proposition A, the San Francisco Housing Bond on the November ballot.

The event program featured remarks from Mayor London N. Breed, Board of Supervisors President Norman Yee, and representatives from Swinerton and BRIDGE Housing. Discussion included the housing crisis in San Franscisco and how funding from the bond enables approximately 2,800 units of affordable housing to start construction in the next four years. Speakers thanked attendees for their support in bringing affordable housing to the city and making a difference in the community.

This campaign highlights Swinerton’s ongoing commitment to building affordable housing across the U.S. with an emphasis on high-density urban cities. Currently partnering with non-profit developers BRIDGE Housing and Mission Housing Development Corporation, Swinerton is proud to be building 1950 Mission Street for low-income and formerly homeless families in San Francisco’s Mission District.
