This project is a build-out of a transitional housing community comprised of two-story, prefabricated Factory_OS, HCD-approved, modular buildings in partnership with DignityMoves, Five Keys Schools and Programs, and the City of Alameda. The new facility will include 47 bedroom units with bathrooms, some of which will be ADA accessible. Five of the units will be for at-risk/homeless transitional-age youth.

This interim supportive housing project will help up to 61 unhoused individuals, mainly from the City of Alameda, find a path to stability by providing a safe environment and connecting them to social service resources managed by Five Keys Schools and Programs. This facility will be a gated community and staffed 24/7 to help keep the site safe, clean, and running smoothly.

DignityMoves supplied CALMOD pre-fabricated structures, for administrative space, laundry room, a shared kitchen, dining room, and multipurpose room. The site also has a pet area and 17 parking spaces.  This project is funded by the State of California Housing & Community Development Department (HCD)’s Homekey program, City of Alameda, Alameda County Housing & Community Development Department, DignityMoves, and various donors.
