As a community-based contractor with national reach, Swinerton delivers consistent quality and scalable service for affordable housing developments. Our thorough understanding of unique financing requirements, ability to provide cost and schedule certainty, and transparent communication have made us a trusted partner to our project teams and community members.
But our hard work and commitment are not limited to the projects we construct. Swinerton supports and advances the missions of nonprofit partners through local outreach events and community based youth and construction workforce development programs. Our dedicated teams invest dollars and volunteer hours into the neighborhoods in which we live and work, fostering the safety and prosperity of future generations.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Swinerton closely collaborates with developers to efficiently deliver affordable housing in our communities. We take pride in building vibrant, long-term affordable housing for individuals and families at all income levels. We stand committed to partnering with our local cities and neighborhoods to significantly impact our communities’ betterment though opportunities for small and diverse suppliers and subcontractors. Our deep community ties allow us to confidently strive for a minimum of a 20% baseline for small and diverse business participation on every project, regardless of project requirements.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
INTERIM TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
To help combat the nation’s growing homelessness crisis and end street homelessness, Swinerton partners with local non-profit organizations and other entities to build interim supportive housing communities. These rapid, cost-effective, and scalable solutions allow unhoused individuals to transition to stable living environments, helping get them back on their feet. As part of Swinerton’s commitment to the communities we serve, we actively volunteer to help make each project a welcoming community.
