Swinerton completed the interior renovation of the ERA Living skilled nursing facility. The building is a three-story building with roughly 40 resident rooms along with a multitude of public spaces and activity rooms. All of the work was phased and completed in a fully occupied facility. The patient rooms, amenity spaces, and offices were demolished and upgraded with new finishes, lighting, casework, new plumbing and HVAC systems. Significant upgrades to the service kitchen, nurse stations and the main lobby were included in the scope. Work was also completed on the vacant lot on the property. A dog run was provided along with a new overflow parking lot.

This nursing facility houses ALS patients on the first floor and less critical patients on the second and third floor. The resident population is very susceptible to adverse conditions and changing situations, such as noise and dust that can be generated during a project such as this. Swinerton implemented a thorough noise and dust mitigation plan that addressed the needs and conditions of the residents.
